Come out this week and say hi as we broadcast from the Wilcraft display at the State Fair. It looks like the weather is going to be great. We are on the east side of the Poultry Building on Clough St. Stop by during the noon hour and make a live request for the All-Request Lunch Hour. Here's a helpful hint.... A food item will improve the chances of your song being played  . Stop by and see just what a Wilcraft is. We will be giving out BOB FM T-Shirts too.

My Hometown is in Running For Pepsi Project

Hello faithful BOB 106 listeners,
I wanted to take a break from the All-Request Lunch stuff to ask for your vote. My hometown of Braham, MN is in the hunt for a Pepsi Refresh Project grant of $250,000 to help the town build a much needed Community Center. I grew up there and know how important a facility of this type would be for the youth, the seniors and the entire community. People can vote once per day. Grandma Lee on Bob

Hey everyone,
I am going to be filling in for Neil on the nine to noon show this Thursday and Friday. Neil, that lucky you know what, is on his way to Moondance Jammin' Country Fest this weekend and will no doubt hear some great music LIVE. But, I get to stay here and play your requests, which is a great honor. It will also be an honor to have GRANDMA LEE of America's Got Talent fame live in studio on Friday morning at 9:30. Grandma Lee is performing two shows this Friday night (7:30 and 10pm) at Stars and Strikes Entertainment Center in Wyoming. Check-out a Grandma Lee performance from last season's AGT right here. She is a funny lady and you can hear her live on Bob Friday Morning.

Busy prepping for the World Cup

Sorry I have been absent from the blogosphere for awhile. I have been watching hours and hours of FIFA soccer to prepare for the World Cup and I have come to one conclusion, those plastic horns the fans blow constantly can hurt the ears, even over television. Oh there is something else... if you've seen one soccer game, you've seen them all.

Hey everyone,
Thanks for all the requests this week and for all of you that made it out to Amigo's Mexican Grill in Rogers and Culvers in Anoka to try to qualify for the Kissimmee Mother's Day Trip Giveaway. Be listening for where the Bob Squad is going to be next to qualify more people for this great prize. Monday will be "Cook's Choice" for the Kick-Off Song, but then I will need your help the rest of the week. So, search your brains and think of some good kick off songs next week and you could win free food from Denny's in Otsego or Amigo's Mexican Grill.
