Come see BOB FM live at the State Fair this year! We will be there every day of the fair this year and broadcasting live from the Wilcraft booth! I'll be out there weeknights starting at 7PM, so stop by and say hi. :)

So I just found out...I advanced out of the first round at the MN State Fair talent contest!
I now play at the semi-final round, Saturday, Sept. 4 at 6pm at the bandshell...the "Leine Lodge"
Come out and cheer me on!! I'd love to make the finals this year.

Anoka County Fair! Wed night :)

Make sure you come out to the Anoka County Fair this week, especially Wednesday. Wednesday is BOB FM Night at the Fair.
32 Below will be playing the main stage, and I'll be there to give the introduction, and I'll have some t-shirts and goodies to give away. :) Their show starts at 7PM.
Then make sure you stick around for the musical fireworks. They will start at 10PM from the fairgrounds. Turn your radio to BOB FM and watch the fireworks set to music, this Wednesday night at the Anoka County Fair.

it's been way too long since i've been on here...
sorry!
just super busy with stuff...
but here's what's going on...
i'm happy to be hosting the homegrown show now on sunday nights...9 to 10 pm. it features a lot of great local talent.
check it out each sunday night.
and...once again this year i entered the state fair talent contest. i had round one last night. it went well. i'm looking forward to round 2! :)
you can see me at potbelly in coon rapids this saturday. it's their birthday celebration. i'll be out there playing music from 11 to 2.
a lot of other stuff is going on with me too, but i'll try to make a point to keep you all more updated.

Sorry...
I know it's been FOREVER since I posted on here.
Things are going great, and I've really been enjoying the show every weeknight. :)
I hope you all are too.
I'll be taking a trip to visit with family at the end of the month, so I'll be gone for a couple weeks. I'll leave the show in the trusty hands of my buddy Wayne Dalida.
...And I'm hoping that when I get back, he will let me back on the air! :)
I'll get you updated on the trip when I get back, and hopefully will have some pics for ya!

Thanks to everyone who came to cheer me on Saturday at Bunker's! :)
I think I did pretty well.
I don't know the results at this point but I'll sure pass them along when I get them.
I'll have some video coming too!

Ok everyone, I need your help...
Next Saturday, April 10, I have a great opportunity. I will be playing 2 songs at the Oryon Media Showcase at Bunker's in Minneapolis. This is a show that features local musicians and gives them a chance to play in front of music promoters and record executives.
The winner will be given a prize package, and everyone who performed will be video taped, and that video will be sent to Universal Records for consideration for a recording contract.
I guess it's similar to American Idol.
Well...I auditioned this week and was chosen to play in the showcase.
Here's the part where I need your help.
I need as many people as possible to come out and CHEER LOUDY for me!
The more noise you make, the better it looks to the folks at Universal.
So...if you can come, I would really appreciate it!
It starts at 4PM, Saturday April 10 at Bunker's on Washington Ave in Minneapolis.
Tickets are $10. Let me know how many you need.
If money is an issue, I can make arrangements for you.
I'd LOVE to see you there!!

Alright, I can tell you the news that I wanted to, because I know it's for sure now.
I'm going to be on TV! :)
You can see me on "Suburban Mix" the "Behind The Music" segment of the show which will air on QCTV several times in the month of March.
They do a short interview with me and then I play a couple tunes.
And of course, we talk about BOB FM!! :)

Hi again.
It's been a while, sorry. They're keeping me busy so I haven't had too much time to catch up on my blogging.
But...I'm looking forward to a great Vikings playoff win this Sunday! GO GET EM!
I got a couple of things I'm working on coming up in the near future that I will let you know about soon. You'll like them, I promise! :)

As for me, I'm still recovering from that UGLY Monday Night Football game last night... :( Why couldn't we play both halves like we did the second??

Hey all!
Just a couple changes to my schedule this week.
I'm on the mid-day show tomorrow (Friday 9 to 1) and my buddy Wayne will be doing my 7-12 show.
Then you will LOVE the "Power Of Christmas" show this Saturday! I'll miss you from 2 to 6, but hey, I'll be back.
Oh...and as always...you can stop by at Potbelly in Coon Rapids to see me Saturday morning starting at 11!
